The Type 812 and 813 tank valves are compact, multi-function valves intended for Hydrogen (H2) gas operated vehicles; safety functions required by international authorities are provided for, e.g. EIHP-Draft Rev 12 (hydrogen) and received a statement report from TÜV-Saarland.
Design Features:
- Common inlet and outlet
- Manual stop
- Thermal PRD for evacuation of gas at elevated temperatures
(i.e. fire etc.) - Thread for direct connection to the gas cylinder
- Dual pipe fittings to the gas system
- Automatic activation of the pipe and/or hose rupture function at vehicle start-up
Technical Data:
- Thread connection to the tank: 2"-12UN includes O-ring (standard*).
- Pipe connections to the vehicle main pipe and pilot pipe gas system: O.D. ø 8 mm main pipe & ø 3 mm pilot pipe (standard*).
- Pipe connection for the thermal evacuation: O.D. ø 6 mm (standard*).
- Electrical connection for the activation of the pipe-and/or hose-rupture function: 24 eller 12 VDC
- Maximum working pressure: 440 bar (6380 psig).
- Working temperature range: -50ºC to +85ºC (-58ºF to +185ºF)
